This recipe combines orange juice, frozen peaches, peach yogurt, and a little honey for the perfect peach-orange smoothie. It’s so refreshing in the summer!
My way of making smoothies is usually to just throw the appropriate smoothie ingredients into the blender and call it good.
And overall it’s pretty good (except for the times I’ve been tempted to add peanut butter, bananas, oats, and spinach to boost the protein and vitamins… bad, really bad).
I have to admit that I have scoffed at smoothie recipes in the past. I mean, do you really need a recipe with the ingredients to put everything together anyway? However, when I saw this smoothie recipe on Pinterest, I decided to give it a try and let me tell you, it puts my disposable blends to shame.
It’s delicious, my friends, delicious. The basic ingredients, orange juice, frozen peaches, peach curd, and a little honey round out the mix, but that little hint of nutmeg, “Hmmmm, I like that!”
Thanks to this totally delicious and refreshing variation, I am once again compelled to explore the world of smoothie recipes. If you have a favorite smoothie recipe, don’t force it on me – please share it!
